These guidelines are intended to assist local and regional planners, community leaders, funeral workers, medical examiners and coroners to prepare for the large-scale loss of life caused by the pandemic. Mitigation strategies should be discussed in Aboriginal communities and with Elders and other community leaders. This document is to be used in conjunction with the document entitled Interim Guidelines: Funeral Services and Handling of Human Bodies during the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) .<br/>
