FNHMA Releases Health and Wellness Planning Videos for First Nations Health Managers

May 28, 2020 – The First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA) is pleased to announce the introductory videos on the Health and Wellness Planning Guide for First Nations. These videos provide clear explanations of how to use the Health and Wellness Planning Guide and offer short overviews of the values and seven key stages of the health planning process.

The Health and Wellness Planning Guide was written for those working in First Nations health and includes the voices and wisdom of hundreds of First Nations health managers. Their voices and experience were shared with us over the many years FNHMA has been working with and supporting First Nations health managers.

The short introduction videos allow you to watch a segment at a time or to use in team trainings or meetings. These videos complement our Health and Wellness Planning Guide and provide context on how to best utilize the information provided in the guide.

These videos can be found and watched on the FNHMA YouTube channel here, and the FNHMA website here

The Health and Wellness Planning Guide is one of FNHMA’s most successful and popular publications to date. The opportunity to provide even more context to the information provided through these introduction videos has been a welcomed one. We look forward to sharing these videos with all First Nations health managers” Marion Crowe, CEO, FNHMA.
