The First Nations Health Managers Association is issuing a call for nominations for the Board of Directors. The deadline for nominations is 5pm ET Tuesday, September 7th, 2018.
Voting members (Certified and Candidate Members) in good standing with the First Nations Health Managers Association are invited to nominate members from their region to the Board of Directors. Based on our current membership, the regions are: Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic.
All nominations shall be accompanied by the signed consent of the nominated member and by the signatures of two members supporting the nomination who are from the same region. Please contact the FNHMA Office should you require support in locating fellow members in your region.
The nominees must be prepared to serve a three-year term, commencing November 6, 2018, following the Annual General Meeting. Information on the roles and responsibilities of the Board and those of a Director can be found by clicking here.
All nominations must be received by 5pm ET on September 7, 2018 to be valid. Should a regional election be necessary, the voting will take place from September 17th, 2018 to September 28, 2018. The results of the election will be presented at the Annual General Meeting on November 6th, 2018 at the Fairmont Banff Springs, Banff, AB. Please note that nominations will NOT be accepted from the floor at the Annual General Meeting.
